We are seeking a Patient Access Specialist for a long-term contract opportunity in Bangor, ME. This role is responsible for patient registration, insurance verification, documentation review, and customer service to ensure a smooth patient experience and accurate billing processes. Ideal candidates will be comfortable working with patients, providers, and internal teams in a fast-paced hospital environment.


Responsibilities:

+ Register patients and update demographic and insurance information

+ Verify insurance coverage and required documentation

+ Review physician orders and ensure all requirements are met before services are provided

+ Contact patients to gather information, complete pre-registration, and discuss payment responsibilities
