Job Summary

Pathology Hub Manager, Exeter Hospital – Pathology – Permanent – Full Time. Salary: £51,000 to £55,000 per year (subject to experience). Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week. Location: Wonford Road, Exeter EX2 4UG. This senior leadership role reports to the Director of Pathology and manages a multisite hub‑and‑spoke pathology service across three hospitals in the South West region.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong, visible leadership to a multidisciplinary pathology team across multiple sites, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
• Manage all aspects of people leadership, including recruitment, development, deployment, performance and absence management, and formal HR processes.
