Responsibilities

• Procedural work in relation to new filings: confirming new filing instructions, preparing and filing applications, monitoring deadlines, and filing requests for substantive examination.
• Preliminary work of design filing: assisting with design application filings, setting up matter codes, preparing drawings and application documents, etc.
• Procedural work in relation to Official Notices: preparing reports and responses to formal examination reports, monitoring deadlines, corresponding with clients about reminders, posting fixed‑fee office actions, and preparing responses for substantive examination.
• Procedural work in relation to Official Notices (continued): preparing reports, translating official notices at the beginning, and gradually taking over all responsibilities, such as reporting to clients directly, recording correspondence, posting fixed‑fee invoices, checking payment status, and chasing payments.
