The Role:

At New City College’s Poplar campus, we are dedicated to creating a supportive and inspiring environment where students can achieve their ambitions. We are now seeking a Pastoral Tutor to join us on a permanent, part time basis, working 29 hours across four days each week.

In this role, you will provide weekly group tutorials and one to one sessions that encourage learners to set goals, overcome challenges, and remain focused on their studies. You will work closely with teaching staff and support teams to monitor attendance, identify students who may be at risk, and ensure they receive the right support. Beyond academic progress, you will contribute to enrichment activities, promote wellbeing, and help to build a positive and inclusive campus culture that reflects the diverse community of Poplar.
