Job Summary
The Parts Specialist is responsible for selling, sourcing, and managing spare and replacement parts for multiple product lines. This role assists customers with parts identification, order fulfillment, inventory management, pricing, and product support while ensuring excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Identify replacement parts using catalogs, computer systems, and technical resources.
- Determine required parts based on customer requests, equipment inspections, and descriptions of malfunctions.
- Receive and process telephone and customer orders.
- Fill customer orders from available inventory.
- Prepare sales slips, sales contracts, and quotations.
- Process payments and obtain credit authorizations.
- Maintain inventory records and conduct stock counts.
- Recommend substitute parts when exact replacements are unavailable.
