To upkeep and maintain the conditions of the two Science Gardens and one Eco-Planting Plot, including the following duties:

• Watering of plants and planting areas.
• Caring for existing plants and carrying out planting of new plants where necessary.
• General gardening maintenance, including weeding, forking, trimming, and pruning.
• Soil maintenance and improvement, including the application of compost or suitable plant nutrients where required.
• Pest and disease control measures for plants and planting areas.
• Tending to specific plants and organisms such as butterfly host plants and caterpillars, including cleaning the tanks where the caterpillars are housed.
• Tidying and upkeep of planting areas, including sweeping and removal of debris, dead plants, fallen branches, and wild creepers growing along fences, walls, trees, and planter beds.
