The Western Kentucky University Department of Music seeks an outstanding candidates to serve as part-time instructor of Saxophone. Part-time instructors are appointed on a semester-by-semester basis with the first appointment for this position to begin August 12, 2024 with the anticipation for additional need for Spring 2025. Core duties will include teaching applied saxophone with the possibility of coaching chamber music. Applied lesson compensation assumes involvement in area meetings, studio classes, end-of-semester area juries, and any other matters pertaining to the woodwind area. Additional teaching opportunities may be available based on candidate qualifications and departmental needs.
