Full-Time (Two 24-hour shifts per week)
Job Summary:
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care of the pre-hospital patients and patients requiring inter-facility transportation. Care is delivered in accordance with MRHC policies, EMS Department policies, procedures, and protocols, and in accordance with the Mississippi Department of Emergency Medical Services, laws, rules, and regulations. Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Maintains competency in critical skills for age specific groups; neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. Maintains current knowledge and trends concerning pre-hospital emergency medical care.
