The pre-finish technician will prepare Pella Window and Door products for finishing with either a stain or paint.  This includes the disassembly of products, preparation of surfaces, masking, staining or painting, proper reassembly and repackaging. A keen awareness of the details and pace of work to maintain quality and production rates is required.
  Responsibilities

+ Unpack the product using a process that allows you to reuse the original packaging material.


+ Disassemble, reassemble and re-package window and door products without damage.

+ Stain windows/doors to match the expected color the customer has approved.

+ Move product from station to station throughout the production process facilitating the daily production goals.

+ The position also requires sanding, cleaning, and masking products with a high level of detail.

+ Stage completed material on carts for return to the Warehouse .
