Position Summary

This position is responsible for monitoring and controlling the pretreatment system for steel and aluminum parts before powder coat and paint. The main focus is keeping the chemical process in control, making sure parts are properly cleaned, and making adjustments as needed to keep the system within spec.

Duties and Responsibilities

+ Monitors the pretreatment system (wash, rinse, dry stages) to make sure it is running within set parameters.

+ Checks and adjusts chemical levels daily (pH, titration, conductivity, etc.)

+ Keeps chemical tanks within the correct ranges for proper part cleaning.

+ Tracks and records test results and chemical usage.

+ Catches and corrects any process issues that could affect quality.
