UPMC Vision Institute is hiring an Ophthalmic Technician to support its clinic at 1622 Locust Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. This role is responsible for performing comprehensive patient workups in a low vision clinic, including obtaining patient histories and conducting refractions, as well as assisting with advanced ophthalmic imaging such as OCT, fundus photography, and visual field testing. The Ophthalmic Technician will work closely with providers and clinical staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment. This position operates during daylight hours, Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., based on clinic needs.
