Job Summary:
An Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) Operations Center Duty Controller performs Command and Control (C2) duties for the installation, serving as the central point of contact for maintaining situational awareness of installation activities, managing emergencies, notifying base leadership of significant events, and submitting Operational Reports to higher echelons as required.

Job Responsibilities:
Perform selected (applicable to AEDC mission) Air Force command post functions; must be able to maintain certification (formal training and monthly testing program) in accordance with Air Force Manual 10-207, Command Post Operations .
Initiate centralized alerting and notification through Installation Notification Warning System (INWS) for disasters, emergencies, contingencies, etc., and manage the recall of personnel.
