**Description:**

**Position Purpose**

The oncology scheduler coordinates and schedules all oncology appointments for established patients such as, laboratory, chemotherapy infusion, blood products, Physician/APP, injections, nutrition, chemotherapy education, genetics, symptom management and survivorship appointments; as well as coordinating radiology studies, internal/external referral appointments as requested by providers, nurses and other patient care team members.

**What you will do**

+ Schedule cancer treatment appointments for patients in multiple locations
+ Work with Medical Secretaries and providers to accommodate patients for their cancer treatments
+ Create multiple (up to 20 or more) appointments to establish a treatment cycle; modify schedule as necessary based on cancellations or other factors to achieve delivery of treatments in the desired sequence
