Following the 2026 Senedd elections, a new Government has been elected with a clear mandate to prioritise prevention, including the appointment of Wales's first-ever Minister for Preventive Health. This is an opportunity to influence policy and strategy at the highest level, shaping the future of obesity prevention and treatment nationwide.
