EXPAND THE CANON (ETC) is an arts non-profit that champions a legacy of storytelling with gender equity at its core through research, advocacy, and access. Both a celebration and a call to action, we demand space for women’s stories in classrooms, on professional theatrical stages, and added to bookshelves across the country - all to redefine what (and who) makes a ‘classic’.

We currently seek dynamic, diverse, and driven theater literature lovers to join the Board of Directors in as we scale our work for greatest impact. We seek volunteers from a variety of professions to help steward Expand the Canon into its next stage of growth. We are looking for members with new perspectives, networks, and skills to help take us to the next level.

We especially seek women, people of color, producers, publishers, digital marketers, press savvy folks, networkers, and go-getters to join our Board.
