Nutrition Specialist II @ Nutrition Department
Primary Purpose:
Work under moderate supervision to prepare and serve appropriate quantities of food to meet menu requirements. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and safety practices.
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
- High School graduate or GED preferred
- Must have or be able to obtain within 60 days, a State of Texas ANSI accredited Food Handler's Certification
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents, students and staff
- Ability to work cooperatively with students/staff/parents
- Must be available to work until end of the scheduled shift
- Basic math skills and ability to effectively use a calculator

- Ability to complete tasks in efficient manner, within required time frame.
