The Fordingbridge Day Nursery is that it is housed in a Grade II listed building, rather than a purpose-built nursery. The building still retains historic features, including an old fireplace that has been repurposed into a cosy space for babies, giving the setting a distinctive character that many nurseries don't have.

Another unique aspect about The Fordingbridge Day Nursery and Pre-School is that every room has direct access to the outdoors. Children can move easily between indoor and outdoor learning spaces, where they grow vegetables, explore nature, ride bikes and scooters, and engage in hands-on outdoor activities throughout the year.
