Registered Nurse Position

Under general supervision, performs a variety of professional nursing services for residents of the Gallatin Rest Home. WORK SHIFT: Nurses work various shifts according to facility needs and their availability. Minimum of 2 shifts per month providing shifts are available.

Qualifications

Applicants for this position must be certified to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Montana; must have thorough knowledge of the theories, techniques and practices of professional nursing; medical terminology and the effects of medication and treatment; supervisory principles and practices; and the ability to apply knowledge; supervise the work of others; maintain accurate medical charts and records; handle sensitive and confidential information; communicate effectively both in writing and verbally; provide professional nursing care to aged and handicapped individuals; react well in emergency situations; direct, instruct and oversee t...
