Job Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner shall be licensed in the State of Mississippi and must practice according to a Board approved protocol which has mutual agreement of and by a Mississippi licensed physician and the approval by the Board of Trustees. Confers with collaborative physician(s) concerning assigned patients. Keeps collaborative physician(s) informed, as is appropriate, of needs and problems related to patient care. Maintains collaborative physicians chart reviews and provides completed review to the Clinic Manager. Acquires, complies, maintains, and applies knowledge of established Forrest Health and Clinic policies, established standards, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control. Interprets these to physician(s), patients, and the public as is appropriate.
