Summary The Advanced Practice Nurse {APN) II Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner {PMHNP) practices in Mental Health {MH) to provide a full range of services emphasizing quality, timeliness, and the advancement of the Veterans Affairs {VA) mission. This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. Responsibilities Duties include but not limited to: Assess status of veterans with serious mental illness, and planning, intervening and evaluating indicated actions. Knowledge of the principles, concepts, theories, and methodology of General Nursing Practice and Mental Health Nursing practice. Complete history and physical on all new admissions.
