UCHealth Mountain Crest Behavioral Health Center has an excellent opportunity for a PRN Family Nurse Practitioner who possesses empathy, talent, drive, and a patients first mentality.
• Our ideal candidate is a good communicator, works well both autonomously and in a team environment, and is adaptable.
• Has 1+ years' experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Contribute to the multidisciplinary inpatient psychiatric team by providing care for patients with identified medical needs
• Complete admission history and physicals for all inpatient psychiatric patients ages 13 and older
• Manage ongoing acute and chronic medical needs including transfer to a higher level of care if needed
• 24/7 facility including weekends and holidays covering hours between 8AM - 8PM
• Must be comfortable working both independently and on diverse teams. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication
