Description
Under the general direction of the Medical Director, provides direct clinical care to patients at the health center. The Certified Nurse Midwife is a member of the health center's clinical team with the purpose of providing evidenced-based and quality medical care to Health Center patients.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Performs assessments of patients including history taking and physical examination prior to prescribing based upon the individual needs of patients in accordance with rights and privileges granted through RN licensure and CNM certification.
• Provides women's health and prenatal care, including but not limited to diagnostic and therapeutic assessments, treatment of conditions and illnesses within the scope of practice, referral and follow-up of patients, and other duties as assigned.
