NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGIST - IMAGING - PRN / CONTINGENT - DAY SHIFT

Schedule: Contingent/PRN Days - Varying days between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM

General Summary:

+ Under the direction of a Radiologist, specializes in the performance of procedures using various isotopes for the evaluation of pathological entities as prescribed by a physician.

+ Performs related functions according to department protocols.

+ Utilizes independent judgment in determining appropriate imaging techniques, patient positioning, and safety practices.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

+ High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.

+ Must be registered (or registry eligible) in Nuclear Medicine by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and/or The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
