**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

**Position Responsibilities:**

+ Interact with patients, guests and other hospital personnel in a friendly, responsive manner to insure that quality patient care is provided; provide accurate patient/family education concerning testing.
+ Perform imaging procedures as outlined in the nuclear medicine procedure manual. Examples of these procedures include the performance of planar, planar whole body, gated planar, SPECT, SPECT-CT, gated SPECT, and mobile studies
+ Perform computer acquisition and processing necessary for the display, analysis and interpretation of the patient’s condition
+ Participate in clinical education programs for the nuclear medicine personnel including training of nuclear medicine technologists, students, and house staff; as well as contributory involvement in staff in-services.
