We are looking for a **Heavy Equipment/Yellow Iron Mechanic** to join the team at our SLD Team location in Punta Gorda, FL.

5:30am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday and Saturday as needed.

**$30.00 plus an hour DOE**

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
+ Performs inspections, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
+ Several pieces of yellow iron currently on site. (Compactors, Dozers, Excavators, Motor grader, Water truck and Articulated Dump Truck)
+ Ability to efficiently operate bulldozers, wheel loaders, motor grader. Compactor experience _preferred_ but not required.
+ Must have computer skills.
+ Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
