Job Description

The Nordic Head of Technical Underwriting provides subject matter expertise, leadership, and guidance in underwriting governance assurance, supporting underwriters and leadership teams across multiple Lines of Business. This people‑manager role with direct personnel responsibility combines operational and strategic initiatives.

• Oversee the “The Zurich Way” of underwriting promoting consistency of underwriting


• Support the development and implementation of underwriting strategy


• Maintain underwriting policy and guideline control framework and best practices


• Oversee the internal control framework for underwriting, conduct regular risk assessment, maintain and implement assurance framework and ensure compliance with Group risk mitigation actions
