Non-Retail Pharmacy Technician

Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the non-retail pharmacy technician assists the pharmacist in processing medication orders by assembling and preparing medications to be dispensed for inpatient and/or outpatient services.

Minimum requirements:

• High school diploma or its equivalent certification
• Graduate of accredited pharmacy technology program
• PTCB or NPTA license preferred or as required by state/contract
• Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
