Higgins Bay of Plenty has secured a new long-term Integrated Delivery Contract with NZTA for the region and is looking for a Network Inspector to join the team based in Ōpōtiki.

This contract focuses on the safe, reliable, and sustainable delivery of maintenance, renewals, and safety improvements across the network from Waihi and Tauranga through to Rotorua and Ōpōtiki.

In this role, you will inspect the network and its assets to assess performance and compliance. You will identify and log defects, monitor maintenance activities, and use this information to support maintenance and renewal programmes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carry out inspections across the network and document findings clearly and accurately
• Identify defects, risks, and areas not meeting required service levels
• Provide reliable data to support maintenance planning and treatment decisions
• Investigate issues and contribute to root cause analysis
