Job Title: Multi-Skilled Operative
Location: HS2 Construction Sites (Various Locations)
Reports To: Site Supervisor / Construction Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time

Rate: £17.69 - £26.54

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of construction and civil engineering tasks, including groundworks, concreting, drainage, fencing, minor carpentry, and general site maintenance.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Assist plant operators, engineers, and specialist contractors as required.
• Carry out excavation support, duct installation, kerbing, paving, and reinstatement works.
• Install and maintain temporary works, barriers, signage, and site protection measures.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas, reporting defects or hazards promptly.
