Job Summary (List Format) MS SQL & Oracle Database Administrator (Senior Level)
  • Manage, monitor, and optimize production and disaster recovery (DR) MS SQL and Oracle database environments.
  • Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting for MS SQL Server (Standard & Enterprise editions) and Oracle databases.
  • Implement and maintain robust backup and recovery strategies including physical/logical backups, RMAN, Flashback, Data Guard, and log shipping.
  • Monitor database capacity, performance, and system utilization; implement enhancements as needed.
  • Manage and support ASM RAC and cluster technologies on Windows Server platforms.
  • Conduct database refreshes, user administration, tablespace resizing, storage management, index rebuilding, and housekeeping tasks.
