**Job Summary and Qualifications**

+ Demonstrate the ability to obtain quality MRI images of patients.
+ Complies with MRI safety guidelines for patients, staff and self.
+ Operates MRI equipment safety including screening all patients for contraindications.
+ Demonstrates the ability to perform all necessary computer operations.
+ Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner and always identifies patients utilizing the proper protocols.
+ Prepare MRI scanner and perform quality control tests.
+ Assist the radiology nurse or radiologist in administering medication, contrast agents, and all types of care to the patient during MRI procedures.
