MRI Technologist

Eligible for up to $20,000 Sign On Bonus

Under general supervision of the Manager, Medical Imaging for the MRI Division, operates an MRI unit and related equipment, in order to produce MRI images of any designated anatomical area. Collects and completes records on patient data and equipment operation. Provides assistance to patients and Radiologists. Solves minor equipment problems. Performs calibration tests and other quality control functions on equipment, and notifies service personnel as required. All essential functions performed in this position reflect the age specific needs of the geriatric, adult, and adolescent patient. Fosters patient and family centered care and nursing services in accordance with the Brown University Health and The Miriam Hospital's mission, vision, values, with consideration of the life span, including all developmental stages as well as cultural patterns.
