A Little About Me: I am a friendly woman in my 30s with Down's syndrome and Type 1 diabetes, living with my parents in the Llantrisant area. I enjoy swimming, ten pin bowling, shopping, beauty treatments, and spending time out in the community. I spend a lot of time in Barry, so I would like someone who is happy to drive me there and back when needed. I am looking to employ an additional Personal Assistant who can support me to enjoy the activities I love while helping me maintain my independence.

Role Purpose

The main purpose of this role is to support me while out in the community, helping me to stay safe, independent, and able to access the leisure and social activities I enjoy.

Hours of Work

Up to 6.5 hours per week. There may also be the opportunity for an overnight sleep in shift once every fortnight, if available.
