UPMC Western Maryland is seeking an observant Monitor Technician to join their team of life-changers!

This is a part-time, 20 hour/week position that will work evening & night shifts. Rotating weekend and holidays required.

As a Monitor Technician, you'll provide continuous visual surveillance of numerous patient cardiac rhythm monitors and notify appropriate nursing personnel immediately of changes and/or life-threatening dysrhythmias. Performs quality EKGs. Place and scan Holter monitors. Transtelephonic Pacemaker Clinic (if cross-trained).

Responsibilities:

+ Promotes and maintains desired public, interpersonal, and interdepartmental relationships and patient confidentiality.
