Position: Modern Apprenticeship in Community Care Resources at Shetland Islands Council.
Sector: Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Work within residential care teams to support elderly adults, adults with mental health issues, and adults living with learning disabilities or autism.
• Provide person‑centred support following legislation and guidelines.
• Attend to physical, social, and emotional needs of customers in residential accommodation.
• Assist with daily living activities and maintain a safe environment.
• Support customers 24‑hour services using a shift rota, including evenings and weekends.
