Overview


i3 is seeking a Mission Systems/Navigation SME Engineer to provide expert-level support in military aircraft avionics integration, navigation systems, mission planning software, and navigation database qualification. This role supports key Army aviation programs and other government agencies, offering both technical expertise and corporate guidance on aviation contracts, program strategy, and business development.


Responsibilities


As a Mission Systems/Navigation SME Engineer your duties will include the following, but are not limited to: 

+ Lead and support integration of military aircraft avionics and navigation systems.

+ Provide subject matter expertise in M-code GPS, INS/EGI, Doppler sensors, TACAN, and VOR/ILS systems.

+ Support development and implementation of Performance Based Navigation (PBN) capabilities, including GATM, CNS/ATM, RNP RNAV, RNP-.3/1/5, and P-RNAV/B-RNAV.
