A Mining house in the Gauteng region is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of strategic plans
• Lead and manage resources to deliver production targets and projects as required
• Maintenance Strategy: Develop, implement and monitor engineering maintenance, risk and operational strategies and plans
• Provide and oversee engineering services, infrastructure (roads, power, water) and equipment availability are adequate and maintained to meet operational goals
• Continuous Improvement: Manage, implement and contribute to continuous improvement and asset optimisation initiatives and projects for engineering processes

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical
• Government Certificate of Competency – Mine & Works
• At least 8 years experience as a appointed 2.13.1 / 2.13.3.1 appointee
