Job Summary

The Milling Machine Machinist 2 is responsible for setting up and operating manual and CNC milling machines, including 3-axis and 5-axis HAAS equipment, to manufacture, modify, and repair precision aerospace and production components. This role performs complex machining operations involving compound angles, contours, helical and spiral milling, boring, serrating, spline cutting, and keyway cutting while maintaining exact tolerances. The position requires interpreting blueprints and engineering specifications, planning machining sequences, selecting tooling and machine attachments, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
