Job Description

Responsible for the pre- and post-natal care of OB‑GYN patients as well as the newborn and contributes in monitoring pregnant women and support during labor and birthing process through continuous quality improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Admits patient to the unit efficiently using the nursing process and customer service standards.
• Obtains comprehensive relevant data using appropriate assessment techniques, monitoring equipment and diagnostic results.
• Assisting the doctor in delivering patients as well as providing emotional support.
• Performs other duties that may be assigned or required of the job by the immediate superior.

Educational Requirements

• Registered Midwife in the Philippines
• With at least 3 months clinical exposure in the general nursing unit or equivalent experience in assisting breast feeding mothers.
