REPORTS TO: Middle & High School Principal

JOB GOAL: A Middle and High School Mandarin Teacher provides quality instruction to students by utilizing research based, developmentally appropriate pedagogical strategies to increase students’ Mandarin proficiency in the areas of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This teacher will closely monitor student progress, provide timely feedback to students, and consistently communicate student progress to parents so that students’ learning growth is maximized. The teacher should be confident in incorporating technology (including emerging technologies such as GenAI) and hands‑on learning experiences into the classroom with enthusiasm and also believe in collaboration with other colleagues, promoting understanding and communication in a diverse learning and cultural environment.
