The Buyer is expected to execute the approved category strategy by developing commercially sound assortments, negotiating competitive trading terms, and delivering sales, margin, and stock turn performance within the assigned portfolio. The role is also responsible for end-to-end category execution, including product selection, pricing implementation, supplier management, promotional input, and stock optimisation; ensuring that customer value, competitiveness, and profitability objectives are met, while working cross-functionally with Planning, Supply Chain, Marketing, Pricing, and Store Operations to deliver seamless merchandise lifecycle management.
