Overview

We are opening a new contemporary 16‑bed mental health inpatient unit designed with healing and well‑being at its core. We seek a Mental Health Tautiaki who embodies kindness, compassion, patience, and innovation to help create a therapeutic and safe environment for patients.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the ward is clean, tidy and safe for staff and tangata whaiora.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Assist nursing staff with patient care and management.
• Contribute to a secure, supportive environment that encourages patients to settle.

• Ability to relate effectively with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
