He Puna Waiora meaning a pool of wellness is a 40 bed Adult Acute Inpatient Unit. The unit was been designed to provide a high level of flexibility in the use of acute beds. There is a number of sensory & comfort rooms with multiple lounges, relaxation and programme spaces for service users.
