Shift pattern: 24/7 rotating roster – 4 days on, 2 days off. Morning 7am – 3:30pm, Afternoon 3:00pm – 11:00pm, Night 10:45pm – 7:15am. Opportunities for Monday to Friday shifts.

About the Role

Te Whare Hohou Roko is a 9-bed medium secure inpatient unit providing specialised therapeutic security for individuals with mental illness who have seriously offended or are assessed as high risk. The multi-disciplinary team delivers individualised, person-centred, collaborative care based on tangata whaiora’s needs, risk assessments, identified goals, cultural identity, and consented family whānau input. Plans balance risk management, minimising the effects of mental illness, and recovery‑oriented approaches.
