Summary

Medical Technologist 2 is professional medical technology supervisory work or independent work of a comparable level in performance of diagnostic tests and procedures in a large clinical laboratory of a county hospital. A Medical Technologist II is responsible for technical supervision of a unit within a clinical laboratory division such as microbiology, hematology, chemistry or serology and urinalysis, performing the more difficult tests assigned to the unit.
