Position Summary/Description:
The Department of Radiation Oncology at The University of North Carolina Cancer Care Center at Rockingham (Eden, NC) is seeking a medical physicist to provide clinical radiation therapy physics services.

The University of North Carolina Cancer Care Center at Rockingham ( UNCR ) is part of the broader University of North Carolina Cancer system. The Department of Radiation Oncology at Rockingham works under the guidance and oversight of the main Radiation Oncology Department located at the University of North Carolina Cancer Center in Chapel Hill, NC. The Rockingham facility is staffed by one radiation oncologist and one physicist (the position under consideration) and four radiation therapists, treating between 10 – 20 patients per day with 3D, IMRT / VMAT , SBRT treatments on a single Elekta Infinity linear accelerator. ...
