MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To perform routine laboratory tests in accordance with professional and regulatory standards and guidelines

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Perform routine tests according to professional standards and guidelines

Monitor sample management including sorting and allocation based on testing requirements

Process clinical chemistry, immunology and serology, autoimmune, haematology, coagulation, blood transfusion and clinical microscopy tests and related laboratory functions

Conduct analysis of body fluids, blood specimens, urine and spinal fluid

Result analysis and verification of accuracy of findings

Contribute to relevant quality improvement initiatives aimed at mitigating risks, compliance, governance and increased patient safety
