GENERAL SUMMARY:

+ Reporting to the Manager of Graduate Medical Education (GME) and Designated Institutional Official (DIO), the Medical Education Consultant is responsible for facilitating educational project work by providing direction, leadership, and day-to-day management of the graduate medical education program and initiatives.

+ Provides training and processes for the Residency Program Coordinators.

+ Coordinates department projects, formulates needed enhancements for processes, and works with internal and external customers to successfully meet established goals and deadlines.

+ Consultants must demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills in working independently to complete projects and assignments.
