Responsibilities - Provides direct patient addiction treatment and care according to professional guidelines and best practices.
- Maintains collaborative agreements with the psychiatric nurse practitioners.
- Participates in the development of clinical systems that assures the provision of care for all clients in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
- Participates in developing plans of care for clients in collaboration with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Maintains liaison with other departments/disciplines relating to the provision of psychiatric care.
Requirements: - Physician licensed and currently registered as such by the New York State Education Department
