**Job Description :**

This is a Medical Assistant training program intended for individuals with **little to no clinical experience** and **no formal Medical Assistant training** .

+ You will need to be able and willing to travel to either the West Penn Nursing School or to AHN Suburban in Bellevue 2 days per week for hands-on training
+ You need to be able to work the other three days during the week at a physician office, practicing your skills during the training period
+ Once the program is complete, you will be required to sit for the Certification Exam
+ Following the training schedule, you will need to be able to work 40 hours a week. in the physician office for which you were hired.
+ For **External Hires** , this position starts at $18 / hour. Once you are certified, you will be at $19.26.
